Refund and Cancellation Policy
We want you to be confident buying on Examworthy. Here is exactly what to expect if something does not work out.
Last updated: 5 June 2026
1. Refund policy
[CONFIRM: refund window + single-cert stance] The following draft terms apply pending confirmation:
- All-Access subscriptions. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal. Refund requests after 14 days are assessed at our discretion.
- Single-certification one-time purchases. These purchases are non-refundable once you have opened (accessed) the question bank for that certification, except where a refund is required by law. If you have not yet accessed the question bank, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
- Renewals. If you are charged for an automatic renewal and have not used the Service since the renewal date, contact us within 7 days and we will refund the renewal charge.
2. How to request a refund
Email support@examworthy.com with the subject line "Refund request". Include:
- The email address on your Examworthy account.
- The product you purchased and the purchase date.
- A brief reason for the request (optional but helpful).
We aim to respond within 2 business days (AWST). Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
3. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No notice period is required and there are no cancellation fees. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period.
- You retain full access to the Service until the end of the period you have paid for.
- We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of a billing period unless you are entitled to a refund under this policy or the ACL.
4. Australian Consumer Law
Our "non-refundable" terms above do not override your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Where a product or service has a major failure - for example, it is substantially unfit for purpose or differs significantly from what was described - you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL regardless of any "non-refundable" wording in this policy. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you believe you have a claim under the ACL, contact us at support@examworthy.com.
5. Contact
For any refund or cancellation questions, contact support@examworthy.com. We are based in Perth, Western Australia (AWST, UTC+8).
