220-1101 - Hardware and Network Troubleshooting - Section 5.5

Troubleshoot common issues with mobile devices, including connectivity, performance, and display symptoms, in a given scenario.

Diagnose mobile device problems from their symptoms - poor or rapidly draining battery life, overheating, intermittent or no wireless connectivity, slow or frozen performance, and a dim, cracked, or unresponsive touchscreen - matching each to its likely cause and fix. Recognise when a soft reset, app or OS update, factory reset, or hardware repair is the appropriate remedy, and when a swollen battery or liquid damage makes a device unsafe to use.
